I wish I knew the name of this floribunda rose growing just in front of the restaurant at Walkhaven dog park in Muldersdrift. The roses look so old fashioned and charming. They remind me of my Forever England tea service.
I don’t think I’ve seen this type of rose at any of the garden centers I frequent. Maybe I should show present this picture the next time I’m at Ludwig’s rose farm. I didn’t detect a scent. However I like the prolific flower clusters and how the petals don’t fall off as easily as those of Iceberg roses do.
If you know the name of this rose or could hazard a guess, please leave a comment.
I took the picture with my new Canon 50mm lens, which continues to amaze me and open my eyes.
