Follow me on Twitter @The_RainQueen & enter the competition by simply tweeting a link to this blog & telling me why you’d like to attend the festival.
And there are many delicious, colourful reasons to want to attend:
In its 2 years of existence ArtMode has become a significant asset to the Cape Town art scene bringing a new and vibrant spirit to the spaces where artists create and exhibit.
The Palms in Woodstock is the venue for the latest ArtMode event, Eat, Paint, Love which adds a live music component to the art festival that runs from Saturday 12th December 2015 18H00 till late.
One of Artmode’s most successful innovations is that it allows visitors to meet and watch some of the artists at work.
ArtMode is proud to announce that this year musician and painter Viccy Wanliss will be creating an interactive piece while engaging with the audience. Viccy’s heritage stretches back to the first Cape Town settlers. Her great grandfather documented his life as a soldier in both the Boer war and the First world war. He has illustrated and written about his adventures and Viccy’s art performance will be based on his experiences.
Viccy is one of 30 gifted artists who are participating in Eat, Paint Love covering disciplines from painting and graffiti to charcoal drawing and mosaics.
